I'm a big dad; look what I can do-- I can put the baby to sleep too!
For the longest time, if my wife went out with friends or to a church thing in the evening, she hurried to get back around the baby's bedtime--between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm. We assumed that the baby would only go to sleep if she rocked him and nursed him.
A couple weeks ago, however, we discovered that I can rock him to sleep just fine. He's never taken a bottle, really, but I don't need it. He falls asleep in my arms anyway.
This development is so important because my wife can go out with her friends and stay out late, go to the club, dive off the stage, etc. Not that she does that. Often. We have a loft area on our second story, and she does practice stage dives off of it into a big pile of pillows and clean laundry.

Thank you for obeying the rules. I therefore will relenteth from bringing the smack down upon you.
Pretty cool site. Nice to see there are other men respect and adore their other halves nearly as much as I do mine. By the way, fantastic art!!

Thanks, John. Marriage is a gift. I try to think sometimes what I used to do before I got married. I watched a lot of movies and ate a lot of nachos. I went to coffee shops a lot and tried to meet women. Now I eat nachos and watch movies at home with my wife and save money on the coffee. Sweet.
